How Local Pass deals work

Local Pass is a Vancouver Island app for ordering from local, independent businesses — restaurant delivery and takeout, plus the Island Food Market, where Island butchers, bakers, grocers and producers sell directly. Every promo code on this page is issued by us and applied at checkout, so there is nothing to print, clip or redeem elsewhere.

Two kinds of saving turn up here. Promo codes are platform-wide: copy one, paste it into the promo code box at checkout, and it comes off your subtotal at any participating business. Restaurant and shop deals are set by the businesses themselves and apply on their own — no code to enter. The two cannot be combined on one order, so take whichever is worth more.

Because Local Pass takes a smaller cut than the national delivery apps, more of what you spend stays with the kitchen that cooked your food and the farm that grew it. Ordering from a local Victoria restaurant or the Island Food Market keeps that money on the Island — the discount is ours, not the merchant's.

Do Local Pass promo codes work on delivery and pickup?
Yes. Codes apply to the order subtotal on both delivery and pickup orders, as long as the order meets the minimum spend shown on the code.
Where do Local Pass deals work?
Local Pass serves Victoria and Vancouver Island. Codes work across participating local restaurants, grocers and the Island Food Market — all independent, Island-based businesses.
Can I use a promo code and a restaurant deal together?
No. A promo code and a restaurant discount cannot be combined on the same order, so use whichever saves you more.
Do Local Pass promo codes expire?
Codes run until we retire them, and any end date is shown on the offer. If a code stops working at checkout it is no longer active — the codes on this page are the current ones.
