Sell your baked goods online
by the loaf, the dozen or the box.
Reach Island households who want fresh bread, pastries and cakes, and the cafes and restaurants that buy loaves wholesale — at prices you set.
Why Local Pass
Fair on small bakery sales, and close to home
Keep more of every croissant
A croissant is a small sale, so the cut taken from it matters. Local Pass charges a lower commission than DoorDash, Uber Eats or SkipTheDishes, with no setup or listing fees on top.
Shoppers looking for a local loaf
Every business on Local Pass is on Vancouver Island, and people come here to buy local — so your small-batch sourdough is in front of the people who came looking for it.
Keep the Saturday line-up
Selling here is never exclusive, and there’s no minimum to meet. The weekend line at your door, your market table and the cafes on your morning run all stay yours — Local Pass adds another door to the same bakery.

FAQ
Straight answers for Island bakers
Can a bakery in Victoria sell online through Local Pass?
Yes. Local Pass is a Victoria company, founded by Subash Chandel and Dmitriy Kuleshov, and bakeries across Greater Victoria can apply today. Nanaimo, Duncan, Courtenay, Campbell River and Port Alberni are rolling out next, so bakers there can apply now and be ready.
Should my bakery sell as a cafe or as a shop on the Island Food Market?
Both work. A bakery-cafe with coffee and a pastry case usually sells as a cafe: a menu page, delivery zones and live order tracking. A bakery selling by the loaf or wholesale usually sells as a shop on the Island Food Market, which adds live stock counts, shipping, pickup points and the wholesale order sheet.
What happens to the bread I haven’t sold by closing time?
Mark it Soon to Go, on a cafe menu or a shop storefront alike. It’s shown at a discount you set, flagged with a clearance badge and moved up where shoppers look, so the day’s last loaves and pastries get a second chance instead of the bin.
Does Local Pass connect to the POS at my counter?
Yes — Local Pass orders go straight into your point-of-sale, so nothing is rung up twice. Square works today, with more systems on the way; tell us which one you use.
Who answers a customer if a bakery order goes wrong?
We do. The Local Pass team handles customer support for order issues on your behalf, and you stay in charge of baking and packing each order.
